Today we drove from Albuquerque to Tulsa. It was supposed to take just over 10 hours, but with the various stops for gasoline and for Sage to stretch, we ended up driving from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. We did lose an hour though, when we entered the Central Time zone in Texas. There was a good deal of rain and a few lightning bolts making me jump. I had thought I lost one of my rings a few days ago, but I found it among my change when I paid a toll this evening. Yay! Off to my Aunt Becky's house in Missouri tomorrow...
Surprise ring! I always feel storms are scarier in middle America, but we don't get a lot of lightning over Los Osos or SLO very often.
